Our Story
In 1977, the Jamili family started a small chilli trading business in Patnam Bazaar, Guntur — the undisputed spice capital of India. What began as a humble shop has grown into a multi-generational enterprise spanning nearly five decades.
Guntur, nestled in the fertile plains of Andhra Pradesh, produces some of the world's finest chillies. The region's unique climate, soil, and traditional farming methods create chillies with unmatched color, aroma, and pungency. The Jamili family recognized this early and built their entire business around preserving and delivering this quality.
Today, through Jamili Sarangapani & Co and Andhra Trading Company, the Jamili Group operates one of Guntur's most trusted chilli powder businesses — sourcing directly from local farmers, processing hygienically, and delivering to homes and businesses across India and the world.
